Book 6 Application Form“Every Child Can!”  An Introduction to Suzuki Philosophy
This course was designed by the Suzuki Association as the first required step in the process of Teacher Training.  It is open to teachers, parents and interested supporters of music and education.  Class size is limited to thirty people, so it is an exciting, hands-on learning experience. NOTE: 6 hours of In-Service Credit is available to school-district personnel

Book 1 Application FormSuzuki Guitar School, Book 1

This course presents the sequence of technique and repertoire for Level 1 of the Suzuki Guitar School.  Additional topics covered include approaching beginners of various age groups, building up your studio enrollment and introducing Suzuki Philosophy to parents and students. Presentation of theory for beginners is introduced as well as methods for teaching correct posture and hand position to assure long-term success.

Book 6 Application FormSuzuki Guitar School, Book 6

This course features topics relevant to teaching the literature in the Suzuki Guitar School, Volume 6, including extended arpeggios and shifting, counterpoint and exploration of rondo form. Fostering independence and the continued technical development of the advancing student is emphasized as well as discussion of supplementary materials for technique, sight-reading, ensemble and solo playing.
